The Potomac Yard Park is a 24 acre linear park located at 2501 Potomac Avenue Alexandria. The park was officially opened on December 14th 2013 by the Alexandria City Council. Potomac Yard Park is located near Potomac Yard, a mixed use development. The park features many amenities suitable for kids and adults of all ages. These amenities include:

The most popular area of the park is the interactive fountain which is located between two playgrounds. The fountain features thirty-six water jets with twelve jets shooting water between two troughs with lighting jets at nights. Potomac Yard Park is open to the public daily.
